Tim Kemp

Two decades specialising in financial services recruitment gives Tim unparalleled experience in knowing what it takes to lead a high performance business in the industry, and how to find the people to do it.
Tim is co-head of Redgrave’s Financial Services practice. Having joined Redgrave in 2021, he is passionate about identifying, tracking and hiring the next generation of executive leaders in the financial services sector.

Tim’s expertise spans key areas of the industry, including banks, asset and wealth managers, insurance, private equity and FinTech’s.

He started his executive search career in 2003 at a leading global executive search and leadership firm, where he helped build one of the industry’s leading Chief Operating Officer practices. He then ran the Corporate Functions practice at financial services specialist executive search firm from 2012 until he left to join Redgrave in 2021.

Tim received Honours in Spanish and Latin American Studies from Newcastle University.

While Tim spends most of his free time with his wife and 3 children, he does make time for exercising and sports. He’s a keen runner, enjoys cricket, skiing, and football – though watching rather than playing these days. He’s a keen traveller and is also a member of Redgrave’s charity committee.
“Having a real passion for understanding people, knowing what drives them, and having a clear view of what it takes to be a true leader means I can provide genuine and honest advisory to support you in finding the best people for your business.”
