Ben Hewitt works across the firm’s Private Equity and CFO practices, helping clients identify and secure exceptional executive talent. He has a particular focus on CFO and senior finance appointments, alongside CEO, COO and other senior leadership roles within private equity-backed businesses.

Ben partners with private equity investors and management teams across the UK and Europe, helping them build leadership teams capable of accelerating growth, executing value creation plans and delivering successful outcomes.

His experience spans a broad range of sectors, with a focus on identifying leaders who combine commercial insight with the financial and operational capability needed to succeed in fast-moving, investor-backed environments. His work with CFOs covers leaders who can operate as strategic partners to CEOs and investors, helping businesses navigate growth, change and ultimately a successful exit.

Prior to joining Redgrave, Ben held senior leadership roles within an international executive search business, working closely with private equity clients on C-suite and Board-level appointments. Earlier in his career, he founded a CFO and senior finance search business, giving him first-hand experience of building a business and a strong understanding of the leadership challenges facing growing organisations.

Outside of Redgrave, Ben is a Trustee of MyBigCareer, a charity focused on improving social mobility by helping young people from disadvantaged backgrounds access meaningful career opportunities. Outside of work and supporting MyBigCareer, Ben spends most of his time with his wife, Justine, and their two young children, Oscar and Ivy. When he gets the chance, he can be found supporting Bath and England rugby, playing golf (badly) or enjoying a great restaurant.
