As a Principal, Oliver Caines brings more than a decade of experience in the executive search industry, with a deep knowledge of the Retail sector. His expertise lies in his ability to form strategic partnerships with a diverse array of clients, ranging from publicly listed and family-owned companies to private equity-backed organisations. Specialising in Board-level and senior leadership appointments, Oliver is adept at identifying and nurturing leadership potential, ensuring alignment between talent and organisational goals.

Known for his track record and ability to successfully manage individual and multiple role projects, Oliver’s approach is tailored to meet the dynamic needs of the retail and consumer environment.

Before joining Redgrave, Oliver worked at one of the UK’s leading retail and consumer executive search firms. This followed a managerial role at a recruitment firm where he led Retail Operations. However, his professional journey in retail began with a role at a leading home and general merchandise retailer, where he gained his deep understanding of the retail landscape.

Oliver graduated from the University of Worcester with a degree in Business Management. Beyond his professional life, he is a proud fiancé and a father to two young boys and chocolate Cockapoo. Outside of family time, Oliver, has a huge passion for sports. He is a keen follower of Football, NFL, and Horse Racing, a keen runner, and is constantly honing his golf skills, aiming to improve his handicap on the golf course. Notably, Oliver is a committed season ticket holder of his beloved Wolverhampton Wanderers. He also enjoys exploring new food spots in London.
