Stuart Kendall

Understanding the challenges and complexities of the real estate sector, means Stuart understands the pressures faced by leaders. It’s this that makes him expert at identifying true leaders.
Stuart leads our Real Estate practice, an area he’s specialised in for nearly 20 years. He partners with clients to build successful leadership teams for both listed and privately owned investors, developers, operators and advisors. Having developed a solid network across the sector, he was responsible for some of the Real Estate industries highest profile appointments, including building entire teams from scratch and moving entire teams.

The cyclical nature of property, combined with ongoing long-term demographic shifts, provides an array of investment opportunities and therefore talent needs. Stuart has developed a strong reputation for establishing leadership teams in nascent sectors by attracting talent from other transferable sectors.

Beyond search, Stuart advises clients on CEO succession planning, future-proofing and leadership development. He helped develop an assessment tool which combines psychometrics with industry and functional expertise, identifying individual and the team’s collective strengths and development areas.

Before joining Redgrave to lead the Real Estate practice, he worked at an executive search firm focused on the real estate and infrastructure sectors for more than six years. Prior to this role, he was at a leading international executive recruitment firm.

Stuart attended Coventry University where he earned a BSc in Sports & Exercise Science.

Away from his day job, Stuart enjoys sports, mostly cycling, and is a season ticket holder at Harlequins. But most of all, he loves spending time with his family.
“My favourite thing about this industry is how connected it is to everyday life. I love getting to understand new markets, and building a solution to finding the right people to make it work.”
