Our client, an international digital transformation company, initially engaged our services to find a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for their German division. However, due to restructuring and internal developments, they decided to promote internally for this position. Consequently, the focus shifted, and the client instructed us to identify a highly qualified Director of Key Accounts, reporting to the CEO.

This strategic leadership role aimed to spearhead business expansion by establishing new clients across Austria, Switzerland, and Germany. Securing the right candidate for this position was crucial for the company’s growth and overall success in the region.
Initially, our team embarked on a comprehensive Search to find a candidate for the CEO position, guided by the client’s strong emphasis on diversity. Our commitment to inclusivity resulted in two highly qualified and accomplished female candidates who advanced to the final stages of the selection process.

However, when internal priorities shifted, the focus of Phase two moved onto finding a candidate with strong sales and account leadership skills, capable of unlocking new business opportunities through digital advancements, including Data, AI and Robotics technology.

To meet the intricacies of German employment laws, we adapted our Search criteria to focus on the requirements of Phase two, conducting thorough assessments to ensure the selected candidate aligned with the company’s long-term goals. Recognising the client’s desire to transition from conventional outsourcing models, we prioritised expertise in value creation solutions and data analytics to enhance customer satisfaction and competitive advantage.
After a rigorous and persistent effort, we achieved success in identifying the ideal candidate who perfectly matched our client’s requirements. The selected candidate brought to the table an exceptional sales leadership background, aligning with the company’s vision to deliver value to its customers.

Following the candidate’s appointment, the business experienced a major upswing in performance, with key metrics showing remarkable improvements.
