Ruth Becker

A senior member working across multiple sectors, Ruth brings energy and a flexible approach to identifying high quality talent and building first class teams.
One of Redgrave’s most experienced executive search professionals, Ruth works on Board and executive committee appointments. While Ruth is industry agnostic, she specialises in heavily regulated industries, and works mostly with financial services, water and utility companies. Ruth’s expertise in governance and regulation means she recognises the skills and capabilities that are required to lead in these complex roles.

Before Redgrave, Ruth predominantly led search mandates for finance roles across financial services. She worked for a leading professional services firm before leaving to join a global advisory firm specialising in executive search and succession planning.

Ruth holds a Master’s in Political Science from the University of Münster in Germany. While Ruth has always been family oriented, the pandemic made her appreciate her loved ones even more. It was during this time that she realised how far she was from her family, and she no longer takes for granted the importance of making time for them. Ruth loves sports and has a passion for creating Ottolenghi recipes for her dinner parties.
“I get excited about identifying candidates who are beyond the obvious. Constructively and collaboratively challenging clients, I aspire to look past the stereotype to find the best person for the role. That’s what I love most about this job.”
